We are a technology partner of choice for suppliers, employees and customers. What does that mean specifically? Sustainable cooperation in terms of society, the environment and the economy provides the foundation for our values, ways of operating and successful collaborations. This topic has been established as the third pillar of our sustainability strategy ‘Citi-electronic’.
We do not consider sustainability to be a purely ecological issue whereby measures to protect the environment are sufficient for a cooperative collaboration.
As an employer and technology partner, in both the responsible procurement of resources and in the trust-based collaboration with our suppliers, we place equal emphasis on:
ecological compatibility
social justice
economic stability
Our Code of Conduct represents a common basis for legal compliance.
The group-wide code of conduct communicates ethical standards and values, and ensures moral principles for sustainable cooperation. These serve as binding orientation and regulatory frameworks for dealing with external parties and each other.
Issues such as ‘discrimination’, ‘human rights’, ‘anti-corruption’, ‘competition and cartel law’ as well as ‘money laundering’ form key components of the code. We train all our employees to have a common understanding of these subjects and to use the code as a guide.
Code of conduct
Group-wide whistleblower system
As a company and technology partner that operates internationally, we are fully committed to protecting human rights and complying with high social standards and legal regulations at home and abroad.
The Code of Conduct for Business Partners ensures that the principles and rules relating to due diligence are applied and shared throughout the entire value chain. The Code of Conduct for Business Partners is an integral component of all contracts between us and our business partners.
Code of conduct for business partners
By introducing the Code of Conduct for Business Partners and Suppliers, we have created a common basis and a sustainable focus for our supply chain. In order to minimise risks and promote a healthy and productive work environment, we work with certification as well as offering health-related benefits.
